The BMC building in the national colors of Poland

At the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi in cooperation with the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Mumbai, the BMC building in Mumbai, one of the icons of the city's architecture, was illuminated in Polish national colours on the occasion of the 3 May Constitution Day.
On that day, a reception on the occasion of the 232nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of 3 May was organised by the Consulate General of Poland in Mumbai. Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Poland in New Delhi Mr. Jarosław Groberek and chief guest – Ms. Manisha Patankar Mhaiskar IAS, Additional Chief Secretary and Chief Protocol Officer Government of Maharashtra, were present at the reception at the invitation of the Consul General of the Republic of Poland Mr. Damian Irzyk. During the reception, the exhibition "Poland Through its Architecture" presenting modern Polish architecture, was also inaugurated. It will be displayed throughout the week in the IFBE in Mumbai.
