On October 17, 2019, the first Indonesia- Visegrad Group Business Forum 2019 was held in Jakarta thanks to the initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

The grand opening was made by the Deputy Minister of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr Mohamed Fachir. The Czech Republic was represented by Deputy Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Mr Eduard Muricky, Slovakia by the Director General for Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr Dusan Matulay, Hungary by the Head of Eximbank Mr Josef Dancso.

Ambassador Beata Stoczyńska in her speech emphasized the economic importance and great potential of the Central Europe region.

16 companies from Poland participated in the Forum, including energy, agricultural, IT and pharmaceutical sectors.
