Latest Regulation for International Visitors to Indonesia during the Pandemic Covid-19

According to Circular Letter No. 8 of 2021 about Health Protocol for International Visitor to Indonesia during the Pandemic Covid-19 the current restrictions have been updated as follows:
- The restriction to enter Indonesia is exempted for foreign citizens who fulfill the below criteria:
- who have obtained visa as follows: Service; diplomatic; visit; limited stay. And stay permit as follows: service; diplomatic, limited stay, and permanent stay permit. -> Referring to the Regulation of Minister of Law and Human Rights No. 26 of 2020 (Permenkumham 26 Tahun 2020);
- Travelers permitted under the travel corridor arrangement (TCA) bilateral agreement scheme;
- Foreign nationals due to special discretion and provided with written permission from relevant ministries/government institutions.
- All the international visitors must take and show negative RT-PCR at least 3 days before departure date. The report should be attached during the health checked or uploaded at e-HAC app
- Upon the arrival, all international visitors must take another RT-PCR and then undergo a 5 days mandatory quarantine at the designated hotel. Only Head of Diplomatic Mission and his/her respective family is allowed to take the mandatory quarantine at their respective residence.
4. After 5 days mandatory quarantine, the RT-PCR should be taken again.
Foreign travellers traveling into Indonesia for the purpose of tourism visit, or any other purposes excluded from the category permitted under the COVID-19 Task Force Circular Letter No. 8 Year 2021, are still prohibited from entry or transit into Indonesia.
