Ministry of Justice in Poland warns

The Information Bureau of the National Criminal Register is the only entity that performs tasks related to the operation of the National Criminal Register.

Warning regarding persons intermediating in obtaining National Criminal Register  information

The Information Bureau of the National Criminal Register, which is part of the Ministry of Justice, with its registered office at ul. Czerniakowska 100 in Warsaw, 00-454, is the only entity that performs tasks related to the operation of the National Criminal Register, as specified in the National Criminal Register Act of 24 May 2000 and secondary legislation issued on its basis, as well as in separate statutory instruments.

Only the National Criminal Register Information Bureau and its information points, operating at common courts (list of Information Points of the National Criminal Register), are authorised to provide information about persons and collective entities on the basis of data available in the National Criminal Register.

The National Criminal Register Information Bureau kindly clarifies that it does not cooperate with businesses offering intermediary services in procuring certificates from the National Criminal Register and as such is not liable for potential adverse effects arising for entities using the services of such businesses.
