Poland in Kuwait

On May 14, 2024, a classical music concert was held at the Yarmouk Cultural Center to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Poland's accession to the European Union. The large audience, including several heads of missions from EU countries accredited in Kuwait, local Poles, cultural activists, and journalists, was welcomed by Mrs. Anna Godoj-Ciszkowska, Chargé d'Affaires of the Polish Embassy in Kuwait. In her brief speech, she emphasized the mutual benefits resulting from Poland's membership in the European Union.

After the ceremonial singing of the anthems of Poland and the European Union, the invited guests enjoyed several pieces by Moniuszko, Chopin, Karlowicz, and Niewiadomski, performed by Kinga and Karol Masternak, Kamil Derylo, and Wiktor Szramko. The audience also applauded works by European composers Humpfat, Lehar, and Dostal.
