Poland in Kuwait

On 22 June 2022, at the Ahmed Al-Adwani Art Gallery, the staff of the Polish Embassy in Kuwait organised a seminar dedicated to the Polish traveller, Waclaw Seweryn Rzewuski. The meeting sought to introduce not only the figure of Rzewuski himself, but also to show his achievements in terms of documenting the everyday life of Bedouin tribes. The lecture was conducted in English with translation into Arabic. It was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, local authorities, Kuwaiti media and invited guests. The exhibition is on display in Kuwait from 7 June until the end of the month. Its organisation was made possible thanks to the institution's collaboration with Kuwait's National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, which provided the exhibition space free of charge.
