In this way, the 100th birthday of the Polish writer, celebrated this year, was emphasized on the islands.

Lem. The workshops will take place on 12 December at 11.00 - 13.00 in NSTS Campus Residence.

12.11.2021 Valletta'I never cry' by Piotr Domalewski at the European Film Festival brought by the EUNIC Malta clusterOn November 12th, there was a screening of the Polish film 'I never cry' directed by Piotr Domalewski. The film was presented to the public as part of the European Film Festival - the first joint project organized by members of the EUNIC Malta cluster, to which on March 26th the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Valletta also joined.

11.11.2021103rd anniversary of Poland regaining independenceOn 11 November 1918, 103 years ago, Poland regained its independence. On this day, after his release from the Magdeburg Fortress, Józef Piłsudski took over military command from the Regency Council and, three days later, assumed supreme authority over civilian matters, to finally “as Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Army [...] notify belligerent and neutral governments and nations” of the reappearance of “the reborn and independent Republic of Poland” on the map. After 123 years of captivity, Poland became a sovereign and internationally recognised state.

10.11.2021 VallettaThe 'Polish-Maltese Duets' performance graced the National Day of the Republic of Poland celebrated on the occasion of Independence DayOn November 10th, the Polish Embassy organized an event on the occasion of Independence Day and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and Malta. The guest of honor was the President of Malta, George Vella, and his wife. The event was held on the representative part of the campus of the University of Malta in Valletta. After the official part, the gathered guests took part in the performance entitled 'Polish-Maltese Duets'.

She presented selected works by Fryderyk Chopin in St. James Cavalier in Valletta.

20.10.2021 VallettaPremiere of the movie "Code Zero" in MaltaOn October 20th, the international promotion of the documentary entitled "Code Zero" directed by Piotr Śliwowski, realized by the Polish National Foundation took place at the Valletta Campus Theatre of the University of Malta. The film shows the successes and struggles of the crew of the I Love Poland yacht.
