80 anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising

On 17th of April Ambassador Grzegorz Kowal participated in the event organized by the Holocaust Centre of New Zealand to celebrate Holocaust Remembrance Day. During this year’s event, he lit the candle in commemoration of all the victims of Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.

The guests were gifted with yellow daffodils, symbol of the Uprising, prepared by POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, provided by the South Island Branch of the Association of Polish Veterans of World War II.
