On May 18th we have celebrated the 80th anniversary of the victorious Battle of Monte Cassino. On that occasion, the Polish community in Auckland organized a meeting combined with the traditional planting of commemorative trees at the Cue Haven Reserve.

The Polish Embassy had a pleasure to support the initiative of the Polish Association in Auckland. The Consul of the Republic of Poland, Maksymilian Zych, participated in the event and planted a commemorative tree.
