Visa representation for the Republic of Latvia

On the basis of visa representation agreement dated 4th of February 2014 between Poland and Latvia, the Consul of the Republic of Poland in Wellington represents the Republic of Latvia on the territory of New Zealand in the processing of visa applications and issuing of visas type C (uniform Schengen visa) and visas type A (airport transit visa). 

The procedures for submitting and processing of visa applications type A and type C to Malta are, in principle, the same as the application procedures for a visa type A and visa type C to Poland with the exceptions for:

1. visa issued in connection with paid work

2. visa for the purpose of studying

3. visa for the purpose of undertaking other activities for which prior authorization from the Latvian authorities is required
