EPAPA in 2021

In 2021, the eleventh edition of the Eastern Partnership Academy of Public Administration (EPAPA) programme was conducted remotely, as in the previous year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Eastern Partnership Academy of Public Administration (EPAPA) programme was organised by the Lech Kaczyński National School of Public Administration (KSAP) on the initiative of and in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The programme is intended to strengthen the public administration in the Eastern Partnership countries by organising specialised training modules for civil servants from the partner states.

In 2021, the EPAPA programme was conducted in the form of one- or two-week training modules thanks to online communication tools that enabled remote participation. It comprised both lectures and workshops delivered by experienced experts and practitioners.

In 2021, four training modules were organised, including one in the form of virtual study visits in civil service institutions for representatives of the Eastern Partnerships countries.

The remaining courses covered:

1. anti-corruption activities at the office. A training course for civil servants from the Eastern Partnership states;

2. probation, mediation and e-surveillance. A course for civil servants from Armenia;

3. implementation of the provisions of DCFTA association agreements on trade and customs policy for representatives of the government administrations of Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
