The event was organized by the Representation of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Poland. Representatives of the government administration, civil society, private sector and diplomatic corps took part.

The purpose of the meeting was to emphasise the importance of further support for Ukrainian refugees in the face of the ongoing Russian aggression against the country. It was accentuated on numerous occasions during the discussion that no refugee camps were set up in Poland owing to the solidarity and support from the entire Polish society.

The need for long-term planning and holistic approach was highlighted - from psychological and material support, through access to education and other social services.
