Scholarship programmes
Scholarship programmes are an important foreign policy instrument of our country. The scholarships build the socio-economic potential of the partner countries while at the same time creating “ambassadors” of Poland.
They allow foreign students from developing countries to obtain education and skills which are often unavailable in their countries of origin. Furthermore, thanks to the time of their life in Poland, they are exposed to the local culture, language and customs. They can also make acquaintances that will benefit them in their future careers. As a result, the scholarship policy contributes to the creation of socio-economic potential in the partner countries while at the same time creating “ambassadors” of Poland.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, via the Ministry of Education and Science, is currently co-financing the Stefan Banach Scholarship Programme, implemented by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.
The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange is an institution designated to provide contact information on the possibility of participation in the Stefan Banach Scholarship Programme.
