Poinformował o tym na dzisiejszym (1 czerwca 2017 roku) spotkaniu z dziennikarzami nadzorujący Zespół Śledczegy Nr 1 Zastępca Prokuratora Generalnego Marek Pasionek.

– W trumnie Prezydenta RP Lecha Kaczyńskiego ujawniono fragmenty ciał dwóch innych osób – powiedział prokurator Marek Pasionek.

Zastępca Prokuratora Generalnego potwierdził ponadto ujawnione przez same rodziny zmarłych nieprawidłowości w przypadku pochówku generałów Bronisława Kwiatkowskiego i Włodzimierza Potasińskiego, a także Natalii Januszko i poseł Aleksandry Natalii-Świat. Potwierdził również znaną już wcześniej informację o zamianie ciał podsekretarza stanu w Kancelarii Prezydenta RP Mariusza Handzlika i prezesa Polskiego Komitetu Olimpijskiego Piotra Nurowskiego.

Wyniki badań

Jak poinformował prokurator Marek Pasionek do 1 czerwca 2017 roku Zespół Śledczy Nr 1 przeprowadził 27 ekshumacji. Znane są wyniki badań genetycznych dotyczących 24 z nich. W dwóch przypadkach stwierdzono zamianę ciał, a w jednym ujawniono w trumnie tylko pół ciała zmarłego. Ponadto w 9 przypadkach znaleziono w trumnach części ciał kilku osób:

• w 1 przypadku ujawniono w trumnie części ciał 8 osób,
• w 1 przypadku – części ciał 6 osób,
• w 1 przypadku – części ciał 5 osób,
• w 2 przypadkach – części ciał 3 osób,
• w 4 przypadkach – części ciał 2 osób.

Ostateczne rezultaty badań mogą wykazać więcej nieprawidłowości, ponieważ trwa jeszcze identyfikacja kilkudziesięciu fragmentów ciał.

Prokurator Marek Pasionek przypomniał jednocześnie, że 9 ekshumacji przeprowadzonych na zlecenie Wojskowej Prokuratury Okręgowej w Warszawie – a więc przed powołaniem Zespołu Śledczego Nr 1 – wykazało zamianę 6 ciał.

Planowane działania

Do końca czerwca 2017 roku Zespół Śledczy Nr 1 zamierza przeprowadzić jeszcze 6 ekshumacji, a od września do końca bieżącego roku – kolejnych 24. Na przyszły rok planowanych jest 26 ekshumacji. Mają one zostać przeprowadzone do końca kwietnia 2018 roku.

Celem ekshumacji jest przeprowadzenie kompleksowych sądowo-lekarskich badań ciał ofiar, a tym samym zebranie dowodów oraz jednoznaczne ustalenie tożsamości wszystkich ciał i ich fragmentów znajdujących się w ekshumowanych grobach. Wyniki badań mają dać rodzinom ofiar pewność, że pochowali rzeczywiście swoich bliskich.

Gwarancją profesjonalizmu działań jest powołanie międzynarodowego zespołu biegłych z zakresu medycyny sądowej, którzy biorą udział w badaniach sekcyjnych ciał ofiar. Są to osoby o niekwestionowanych dokonaniach i autorytecie.

Czynności podejmowane przez prokuraturę, międzynarodowy zespół biegłych i specjalistyczne laboratoria obejmują badania obrazowe ciał ofiar przy użyciu tomografii komputerowej, badania genetyczne, toksykologiczne, histologiczne i fizykochemiczne.

The conference in the matter of the state of the investigation concerning the Tu-154M plane crash in Smoleńsk

The identification examinations of the bodies of the victims of the Smolensk plane crash, conducted on the commission of the Investigation Group No. 1 of the Polish National Public Prosecutor’s Office have proved irregularities in more than a half of the cases (12 per 24) so far. These were involving mainly placing in one coffin parts of more people than one (in an extreme case it was even eight people) or a swapping of the bodies.

The Deputy General Prosecutor Marek Pasionek – the supervisor of the Investigation Group No. 1, had informed about this fact on today’s (1^st June 2017) meeting with journalists.

– W trumnie Prezydenta RP Lecha Kaczyńskiego ujawniono fragmenty ciał dwóch innych osób – powiedział prokurator Marek Pasionek.

The fragments of bodies of two other persons were found in the coffin of Lech Kaczyński, the President of the Republic of Poland – the prosecutor Marek Pasionek annunced.

Moreover, the Deputy Public Prosecutor had also confirmed the irregularities revealed by the relatives of late Gen. Bronisław Kwiatkowski, Lt. Gen. Włodzimierz Potasiński, as well as Natalia Januszko and Aleksandra Natalli-Świat – the member of the parliament, regarding their burials. He had also confirmed the information about the swapping of the bodies of Mariusz Handzlik – the under-secretary of state in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland and Piotr Nurowski – the President of the Polish Olympic Committee, already known to the public.

Examination results

According to the prosecutor Marek Pasionek, by 1^st June 2017, the Investigation Group No. 1 has conducted 27 exhumations. The results of the genetic examination of 24 of the above mentioned are already known. In two cases, the swapping of bodies has been stated and in one case, only a half of the body was revealed. Furthermore, in 9 cases, the parts of bodies of several other persons were found in the coffins.

• in 1 case, the parts of 8 persons were found in a coffin.
• in 1 case – the parts of 6 persons,
• in 1 case – the parts of 5 persons,
• in 2 cases – the parts of 3 persons,
• in 4 cases – the parts of 2 persons,

The final results of the examinations may prove more irregularities because the identification of several dozen fragments of bodies is still in progress.

 

Simultaneously, the prosecutor Marek Pasionek had remined that 9 exhumations conducted on the commission of the Circuit Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw, thus before the formation of the Investigation Group No. 1, had revealed the swapping of 6 bodies.

Actions planned

By the end of June 2017, the Investigation Group No. 1 intends to conduct 6 exhumations and another 24 since September of the current year. 26 exhumations are planned for the following year. Those are to be conducted by the end of April 2018.

The purpose of the exhumations is to conduct complex judicial and medical examinations of the bodies of the victims, and thereby, to collect evidence and to find out unambiguously the identities of all the bodies and their fragments placed in a exhumed graves. The results are to give certainty to the families of the victims that they actually had buried their own relatives.

The establishment of international group of experts in the field of forensic medicine who participate in the autopsy of the victims’ bodies is the guarantee of the professionalism of the actions. These are the persons of unquestionable achievements and authority.

The actions undertaken by the public prosecutor’s office, an international group of experts and specialist laboratories involve imaging examinations of the victim’s bodies via the computerised tomography, as well as genetic, toxicological, histological, and physicochemical examinations.
