Alarm Signals

The alarm signals and warning messages applicable in the country are defined in the regulation of the Council of Ministers of February 23, 2024, regarding systems for detecting contamination and notifying about their occurrence, as well as the responsibilities of authorities in these matters.

Alarm signals and warning messages are used in the case of a real threat or for the purpose of conducting training and exercises.

If alarm signals and warning messages are used within the framework of exercises, the public must be informed about this fact 24 hours in advance. The information should be disseminated through mass media and in a manner commonly accepted in the area, including details about the exercise (scope and territorial range).
