Critical Infrastructure Protection Department
The scope of duties of the Critical Infrastructure Protection Department includes:
- Developing and updating the National Critical Infrastructure Protection Program.
- Creating and updating criteria for compiling a uniform list of objects, installations, facilities, and services that make up critical infrastructure, categorized by systems.
- Preparing and updating the uniform list of critical infrastructure elements, categorized by systems.
- Analyzing protection plans for critical infrastructure submitted by operators for approval by the Centre's Director.
- Preparing analyses and forecasts regarding national critical infrastructure, analyzing international solutions, and collaborating with domestic and foreign entities, including scientific and research centers.
- Collaborating with ministries, agencies, and relevant services on critical infrastructure protection.
- Collaborating with owners and possessors of critical infrastructure elements, whether autonomous or dependent.
- Acting as the national contact point for EU institutions, NATO, and their member countries regarding the protection of European critical infrastructure.
