Operational-Analytical Centre
The Operational-Analytical Centre is responsible for the following tasks:
- Performing the functions of a national crisis management center by maintaining 24/7 duty and ensuring the flow of information necessary for crisis management;
- Monitoring and analyzing the situation in the area of national security and identifying associated threats;
- Preparing to activate procedures related to crisis management in the event of threats;
- Preparing information and analyses regarding the assessment of potential threats and their development, as well as formulating conclusions and proposals for counteracting these threats;
- Ensuring the flow of information about events and threats as part of supporting the Minister of the Interior and Administration in matters of crisis management;
- Preparing reports, evaluations, and assessments:
- on actions conducted by the Center during crisis situations,
- in areas assigned by the Council of Ministers or the Prime Minister,
- on actions conducted by public administration bodies responsible for crisis management during crisis situations;
- Ensuring the exchange of information in national and international relations concerning the implementation of initiatives within the NATO Crisis Response System;
- Planning national exercises to verify the National Crisis Management Plan;
- Coordinating the preparation and implementation of activities within the Center following the introduction of alert levels.
