03.05.2021230th anniversary of the Constitution of 3 MayWhen on 3 May 1791 the Four-Year Sejm also called the Great Sejm adopted The Government Act of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth later known as the Constitution of 3 May, the Polish-Lithuanian state became the Europe’s first and the world’s second that passed the basic law. For its time, it was a progressive and bold legal act which initiated a number of reforms. It also constituted a crowning achievement of the centuries-old links between Poland and Lithuania.

Therefore, the Sejm of the Republic of Poland designated 2021 as the Year of the Ładoś Group. Moreover, March 24 is the National Day of Remembrance of Poles Saving Jews. Therefore, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Riyadh is pleased to present fragments of the study on the Polish Legation in Bern ("Polish embassy for the continent of Europe") by Ambassador Marek Pernal (former Polish Ambassador in the Czech Republic and Argentina).

03.01.2021 RiyadhNew restrictions on the Polish border from December 28From December 28th 2020 new restrictions related to the prevention of COVID-19 are in force on the Polish border. Citizens of Poland, EU, EEA and Switzerland who cross the Polish border, constituting the external border of the EU, are no longer exempt from quarantine. After crossing the internal border, persons travelling by public transport are directed to quarantine. Exempt from quarantine are, i.a. individuals vaccinated against COVID-19.
