Certifying conformity of translations

Where to apply?

At the Consular Section of the Polish Embassy in Bangkok.

The consul can prepare the translation himself and certify it or verify and already prepared translation and certify it. Verifying and certifying a translation takes a shorter time and is cheaper than preparing and certifying.

Official languages of the countries of our accreditation are considered "rare languages" in Poland. Therefore we translate official documents from Thai, Khmer, Lao and Burmese from an English translation. Before visiting the Consular Section, you should have your document translated to English at one of the numerous private translation offices.

Please note that Thai civil status documents are now being issued also in their English versions. If you request for such a document, you will not have to translate it to English on your own.

Do I have to apply in person?

Documents can be submitted in person or by mail. Before sending the documents, contact us and arrange the details.

How to book an appointment?

You can book your appointment to apply for a visa via the e-konsulat system, by choosing “Legal matters” from the menu on the left of the screen.
