The online meeting aimed to develop a common position on solving the problem of excessive imports of agri-food products from Ukraine.

Polish position

"The problem we are facing is not short-lived. It should be resolved by, among other things, banning the import of certain free-food goods to countries bordering Ukraine while allowing their transit to other EU Member States and third countries," emphasised Minister Robert Telus.

Support for the Polish position

The other Ministers supported the Polish Minister's stance. The meeting participants worked out a shared position for the meeting with Commissioners Dombrovskis and Wojciechowski.
