The Polish stand

During this year’s edition of the HKTDC Food Expo Pro fair, the Polish stand presents high-quality Polish products, including cereal products, fruit juices, processed fruits and vegetables, jams, syrups, meads, dairy and milk products, poultry products, fish products and confectionery.

On the first day of the fair, the Polish stand was visited by a delegation of the representatives of retail networks, wholesalers and industry organisations. The delegation was headed by Mr. Peter KN Lam, President of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, and Mrs. Blanka Gołębiowska, Consul and Head of the Consular, Economic, Communication, and Public Diplomacy Department at the Polish Consulate General in Hong Kong.

The stand was also visited by the representatives of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, which is one of the four main Chambers of Commerce and the only statutory one in Hong Kong.

During the fair, talks are held with potential distributors and agents who are able to become acquainted with a rich offer of Polish companies.

An additional attraction encouraging a visit to the stand of the Ministry are live culinary shows organised in cooperation with the Beef Promotion Fund.

The purpose of the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in the fair

The main objective of the participation of the Ministry in the HKTDC Food Expo Pro fair is to popularise Polish food, increase its presence in the Chinese and global markets and foster the interest of potential foreign trade partners from Hong Kong, China and Asia in Polish products.

About the fair

This year’s HKTDC Food Expo Pro fair takes place on 17-19 August 2023 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. It is one of the largest food and beverage exhibitions in Asia, which has for many years enjoyed outstanding renown.

Due to its strategic location and its clear, transparent customs regulations, Hong Kong is a gateway to mainland China and an ideal link between Europe and Southeast Asia.
