Data Management Department
The main task of the department is maintaining order and taking care of database functionality. It ensures the smooth and unimpeded flow of information between public offices and the citizen, while making sure that it remains compliant with security procedures by initiating improvements in legal processes in the field of data.

Tasks of the Department
- Carrying out actions aimed at ensuring cooperation between public administration entities and entrepreneurs in the development of data-based management methods and improvement of administration efficiency.
- Supporting stakeholders in the development of analytical skills, the use of data in management and the achievement of related social benefits.
- Developing technical and procedural possibilities for streamlining data-based management processes.
- Managing common analytical resources, metadata and source records.
- Initiating and supervising projects in the field of public administration data analysis, coordination of initiatives of inter-Ministerial importance.
- Ongoing monitoring of benefits, costs and threats resulting from the use of data in public administration.
- Introducing and auditing the use of data architecture standards for IT systems and data management in public administration.
- Handling national matters in the area of personal data protection policy-making.
