Council for Digital Affairshe Council is a think-tank, the members of which support the Ministry of Digital Affairs and Council of Ministers Committee for Digital Affairs with their knowledge and experience. It prepares opinions on strategic and other documents pertaining to digitisation, communication and development of information society. It cooperates in a number of areas, including digital integration, protection of privacy on-line, elimination of obstacles and barriers to the development of the electronic economy, or reform of intellectual property rights on the Internet.

Working Group on DLT and Blockchain – 2019 SummaryThe blockchain technology is currently seen as a tool for creating trust in networks. In traditional relationships where participants do not know each other well enough to trust that the agreed activity will be carried out as intended, this kind of trust is usually ensured by intermediaries or costly procedures. Blockchain allows all the entities to automate this process, which is why we expect a variety of benefits resulting from its implementation.

Council of Ministers Committee for Digital AffairsAn auxiliary body of the Council of Ministers and the Prime Minister. Its tasks include, in particular, checking draft government documents with regards to computerisation of public administration and public registers, development of information society and broadband networks, audio-visual policy, as well as implementation of IT solutions.
