IGF Poland 2022
25.03.2022
On 20 October 2022, the national Internet Governance Forum (IGF Poland) will take place once again. The Forum will provide an opportunity for multilateral and open discussions related to the functioning of the Internet. This year the IGF Poland will be held in Lublin.
We are expecting several hundred guests, practitioners and theoreticians, top-level guests, representatives of business, government, NGOs, academia and technical organisations.
It is also important for us to interest Polish youth and young people in issues related to digital space. We are committed to greater than usual participation of young people in IGF 2022. We rely on contact with universities, especially in Lublin, which will help in the ongoing promotion of the IGF in Lublin among students and promote the event both online and on-site.
One of the objectives of IGF Poland is to promote the Katowice Message as the final document of the UN IGF 2021, which can also be implemented at national level. We also promote the IGF idea in Poland and present the Polish perspective in the global discussion on the future of digital space and the most current issues related to its functioning. Especially important here is a multi-stakeholder dialogue involving the broadest possible groups of stakeholders. IGF Poland has been facilitating the cooperation of various communities interested in shaping the discussion on internet governance since 2016.
We plan to organise sessions at IGF 2022 under 3 thematic tracks:
1. Technologies in the Service of Society
2. Man on the Internet
3. Digital Legislation Forum
We invite all interested parties to participate in IGF 2022 and cooperate with us!
