Deputy Minister Paweł Jabłoński on planned trade promotion in foreign markets and support for exporters

Today’s videoconference organised by the Polish Chamber of Commerce, one of the series “Polish Chamber of Commerce’s DIPLOMEETING: on the way to re-open foreign markets”, was devoted to the exchange of information on prospective directions of economic expansion and possible export facilitation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was represented by Deputy Minister Paweł Jabłoński. The meeting was also attended by: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development, Labour and Technology Jarosław Gowin, and President of the Polish Development Fund S.A. Paweł Borys.
Deputy Minister Jabłoński showcased the key ventures of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in economic diplomacy, and pointed out that Polish diplomacy works to integrate and present Polish technological offer in such areas as water management, smart cities, drones, cybersecurity and fintech. He also underlined that the ministry takes actions to support Polish business and helps every businessman, if asked.
The power of a country is reflected in its ability to expand, also economically, particularly under current difficult circumstances, added the MFA deputy head.
Deputy Minister Paweł Jabłoński also announced that the ministry will soon prepare additional measures to aid Polish companies’ entering tenders issued by international organisations.
The videoconference was also attended by representatives of economic departments of foreign missions accredited to Poland, and Polish entrepreneurs interested in expansion abroad. After the official part, the latter also attended a B2B session.
The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economic Development, Labour and Technology.
