Deputy Minister Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski meets with Keidanren Japan Business Federation representatives

Today’s visit of a large Japanese delegation has been the first since 2014 and aims to further develop investment and trade cooperation between Poland and Japan.
While in Poland, the representatives of Japan’s largest companies also attended meetings at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, the Ministry of Infrastructure, and the Ministry of Climate and Environment. They also met with the representatives of the Polish Confederation Lewiatan.
During the talks, the interlocutors discussed bilateral economic relations, Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, and supporting its recovery. Other agenda items included economic security and the priorities of the Polish presidency of the Council of the EU in 2025. During the meeting, Deputy Minister Bartoszewski also spoke about the 2025 EXPO in Osaka as an opportunity to strengthen ties with Japan.
