Medical supplies to combat COVID-19 have arrived from China to Poland

Today (31 March 2020) in the morning, an aircraft arrived at Warsaw airport carrying a range of medical products ordered by government institutions as well as medical supplies donated by Chinese authorities to help Poland combat COVID-19.

As part of the Chinese humanitarian aid that has reached Poland, the transport included 10,000 certified COVID-19 test kits, 20,000 N95 masks, 5,000 protective suits, medical gloves and other protective gear necessary to fight the new coronavirus pandemic. The chief of Polish diplomacy thanked his Chinese counterpart for the support.

Minister Czaputowicz also stressed that the COVID-19 pandemic is a global challenge, which means that societies across the world should share this responsibility and unite to face the pandemic together.

The head of the Polish MFA underlined that urgent needs require urgent actions, adding that we are grateful to the Chinese side for all the assistance and facilitations which enable us to better protect our citizens’ health and life.
