He also stressed that Russian aggression is a clear violation of international law and principles binding the international community as a whole, such as the principle of sovereign equality of states, non-interference in internal affairs, and the peaceful settlement of disputes.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan underlined his concern about the situation in Ukraine, highlighting its wider international consequences. He paid particular attention to the humanitarian catastrophe caused by the war.
