Ministry of Foreign Affaires

The report, released on 12 April 2021, concludes that chemical weapons were used by the Syrian Arab Air Force on 4 February 2018 during ongoing attacks against Saraqib, the Syrian Arab Republic.

Poland strongly condemns any use of chemical weapons. We support all efforts by the international community to prevent the re-emergence of chemical weapons. Those responsible for violating the CWC must be held accountable.

We reiterate our full support for the activities of the OPCW, including the IIT team. We have full confidence in their objectivity, independence and professionalism.
