Minister Jacek Czaputowicz starts his travel to Brazil, the US and Portugal

On 4-7 February 2020, Poland’s foreign minister will visit Brasilia, Washington and Lisbon.
In Brazil, on 4 February, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will take part in Polish-Brazilian political consultations with his Brazilian counterpart Ernesto Araújo. While in Brasilia, he will also meet with President Jair Bolsonaro. Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz and Deputy Foreign Minister Paweł Jabłoński will also attend a session of the Warsaw Process working group on humanitarian issues and refugees.
From 5 to 6 February, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will stop in Washington, where he will participate in a dinner at the invitation of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. He will also take part in the annual National Prayer Breakfast with President Donald Trump. Other attendees include US government officials, members of the US Congress and diplomats.
On 7 February, Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will travel to Lisbon at the invitation of Portugal’s top diplomat Augusto Santos Silva. They will discuss the development of Polish-Portuguese cooperation, current items in European politics and international situation. In addition to holding bilateral talks, the minister will meet with representatives of the local Polish community.
