Recalling his country’s experience of the transformation period, the top Polish diplomat declared support for internal dialogue in Belarus, which is the only proper way of stabilizing current situation. “We take Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s initiative to establish the Coordination Council as a step in the right direction aimed at building a platform for such dialogue,” said Minister Czaputowicz.

Minister Czaputowicz also expressed his respect for Ms. Tsikhanouskaya’s attitude and the goals and aspirations of Belarusian society. Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya thanked for Poland’s and EU’s support for the Belarusian nation and considered it an important message, appreciated by the opposition and protesters alike.
