Minister of Foreign Affairs meets with President of European Court of Human Rights

In their talks on 9 December, the parties discussed current challenges affecting the protection of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law.

The President of the Court has been invited to Poland by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The agenda of the visit includes meetings with the Prime Minister, the Minister of Justice, and the Commissioner for Human Rights.

On 10 December, President Bošnjak will deliver an address to inaugurate the 15th Warsaw Human Rights Seminar. The address will be devoted to the role of the European Convention on Human Rights and the European Court of Human Rights in strengthening democratic institutions.
