Minister Rau meets with OSCE Secretary General on the margins of OSCE Ministerial Council in Stockholm

On the second day of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Stockholm, Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau met with Helga Schmid, Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.

As part of regular meetings with OSCE SG Helga Schmid, Minister Zbigniew Rau discussed major current issues related to Poland taking over the Organization’s chairmanship. He also called on the Secretary for support and cooperation in the OSCE’s strategic process of its 2022 budget negotiation. This October, Poland took the chairmanship of the Advisory Committee on Management and Finance, whose task is to work out a consensus proposal for the OSCE’s funding in the following year.
