Minister Zbigniew Rau and Armenia’s foreign minister hold talks on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Stockholm

At the end of a series of meetings on the first day of the OSCE Ministerial Council, Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.
The chief of Polish diplomacy reaffirmed his plans to visit the South Caucasus, including Armenia, next year as the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office. He emphasised Poland’s appreciation for the democratic changes in Armenia. The Polish foreign minister also expressed his concern about tensions in the region and support for the diplomatic efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group and Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on the conflict dealt with by the OSCE Minsk Conference, who is assisting its work.
Minister Rau declared that Poland, as the country chairing the Organisation in 2022, will attach the utmost importance to the issue of regional and protracted conflicts in the OSCE area.
