Minister Zbigniew Rau meets with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó

“In times of the pandemic, the V4 cooperation is more important than ever before,” stressed Minister Rau during his conversation with Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó.

The ministers focused on bilateral cooperation, including in development projects and humanitarian aid, and regional collaboration within the Visegrad Group, particularly the plans of the Polish presidency.

The top diplomats also discussed the current EU agenda related to the Multiannual Financial Framework and the Pact on Migration.

Minister Rau invited his Hungarian counterpart to participate in the international Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom that Poland will organise in a videoconference formula on 16-17 November 2020. The Hungarian foreign minister accepted the invitation.
