The chiefs of Polish and Latvian diplomacies will discuss the most important bilateral issues and the international agenda, including the situation in Belarus and Ukraine. The visit’s objective is to enhance Polish-Latvian cooperation, particularly in the field of Eastern policy, security, and economic cooperation as well as to underscore the significance of anniversaries that fall in 2021: a centenary of establishing Polish-Latvian diplomatic relations and the 30th anniversary of resuming the relations.

While in Riga, Minister Zbigniew Rau will also meet with President of Latvia Egils Levits and Speaker of the Latvian Parliament (Saeima) Ināra Mūrniece.
