The main item on the agenda will be the political and security situation as well as future relations between the EU and Afghanistan. The ministers will also discuss the EU’s relations with China and the Gulf states. Poland, along with Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, is planning to raise the issue of migratory pressure at the EU’s external border with Belarus at the EU forum. 

An important element of the two-day meeting of the EU chiefs of diplomacies will be a discussion with India’s External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. The talks will focus on EU-India relations and the situation in the region.
