Poland’s chief diplomat to visit Brussels

On 21 March, Minister Zbigniew Rau will be in Brussels to take part in a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council devoted to Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.

The EU member states’ ministers for foreign affairs will meet with Moldova’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicolae Popescu. Also, the Council will deal with the situation in Mali and the nature of the European Union’s engagement in the Sahel. On top of that, the EU member states’ chief diplomats will agree on the draft Strategic Compass for the EU, scheduled for adoption at the forthcoming European Council meeting on 24–25 March.
