Bogusław Winid was appointed Vice-Chairman of the UN International Civil Service Commission, while Jakub Chmielewski was appointed a member of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions (UN ACABQ). Both diplomats will start work in New York in January 2022.

For years, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been trying to ensure the widest possible representation of Polish citizens at international organisations of which Poland is a member. The appointment of the two diplomats is also a meaningful example of our country’s strong position in the UN.
