Polish–German talks at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On 24 January, Secretary of State Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski held consultations with the German Bundesrat President Anke Rehlinger.

The interlocutors underlined the very good state of Polish–German relations. They highlighted the significance of social and cross-border contacts. Both sides praised the intensification of the Weimar cooperation, stressing its importance for the European Union. 


Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski and Bundesrat President Anke Rehlinger discussed the potential for enhancing European security and the prospects for developing transatlantic relations. Officials agreed that it is necessary to combine efforts in the areas of resilience building and combatting hybrid threats.
