The Polish foreign minister spoke of the actions Poland took to facilitate transit of foreigners through its territory and reopen selected sectors of the economy. The talks focused on tourism in the context of the forthcoming vacation season. Another topic was the EU’s support for member states’ economies.

The two ministers agreed that it is important to foster ties between Poland and Spain. Despite the pandemic, they expressed their will to continue developing close and very good bilateral relations. They stressed the role of people-to-people contacts, and exchange programmes bringing together many Polish and Spanish students.
