Security Policy Department
The Security Policy Department is responsible for handling global and regional security matters in the following aspects: NATO, Common Security and Defence Policy, peace operations, crisis management, international aspects of space exploration, cybersecurity, hybrid threats and other new kinds of threats, the functioning of the politico-military dimension of the OSCE, non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMD), arms exports control, cooperation of defence industries, arms control and conventional disarmament, confidence- and security building measures, and the policy of preventing and countering international terrorism.
