Statement on limited activity of Foreign Minister

Following a medical recommendation, Minister Zbigniew Rau is forced to limit his activity.

According to the latest medical assessment, the minister will be on sick leave until 7 November 2021. The minister remains in regular contact with the MFA, the Prime Minister, and the President of the Republic of Poland. The foreign minister’s life and health are not in any danger. Professor Zbigniew Rau is supported and duly substituted in many of the ongoing tasks by senior officials of the MFA.
