Poland welcomes the agreement announced on the resumption of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran and appreciates the efforts that led to this important step.

Good-neighbourly relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia are crucial to the stability of the Persian Gulf. The resumption of diplomatic relations between the two countries can contribute to the stability of the entire region. Poland supports the efforts to further develop regional dialogue and ensure lasting peace and security in the Gulf region. Poland is also ready to cooperate with all actors in the region within the framework of an inclusive approach and with full transparency.
