A continuation of Polish-Canadian political consultations, the meeting focused on Russia's unjustified aggression against Ukraine. The diplomats unequivocally condemned Russia’s military attack on Ukraine and agreed on developing a concrete framework to cooperate on humanitarian aid for the civilian population. A common sanctions policy against Russia was also discussed. Moreover, the deputy ministers stressed the unity of allies within NATO and the need to combat Russian disinformation activities.
