The Republic of North Macedonia officially becomes NATO’s member today

Today the Republic of North Macedonia has become the 30th member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. We would like to congratulate the country’s government and citizens on a successful conclusion of the accession process.
Poland is convinced that the Republic of North Macedonia will significantly contribute to our collective security and to extending the area of stability in Europe.
Admitting the Republic of North Macedonia to NATO proves the vitality of the Treaty’s Open Door policy and sends a positive signal to all countries that wish to join the Alliance. We hope for a successful cooperation with the Republic of North Macedonia within NATO and further enhancing of bilateral relations.
