Two coaches with children from Ukraine arrive in Poland

Thirty children and their carers crossed Poland’s border with Ukraine in Medyka. The children left war-torn Ukraine to undergo treatment in Poland.
The transport consisting of two coaches and six ambulances, accompanied by the staff of the Consulate General in Lviv, set off on Thursday, 24 March. Thirty patients from a children’s hospital in Lviv will continue their treatment in Poland.
It was the 13th transport escorted by Polish Consulate General in Lviv. So far, the Polish consuls have helped 1,600 refugees, including 500 children, leave Ukraine.
Apart from helping Polish nationals staying in Ukraine to reach Poland, the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Lviv has been carrying out numerous actions to provide humanitarian aid.
