The conference focused on Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, EU sanctions against Russia, support from European countries for Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees, and the upcoming NATO summit.

This has been yet another meeting of the Weimar Triangle foreign ministers in the recent past. On 1 March, Łódź hosted the foreign ministers of Poland, Germany, and France at the initiative of Minister Zbigniew Rau. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba also joined that meeting via a videoconference.
