Concert on the occasion of the National Day of 3 May, the Flag Day and the 16th anniversary of Poland's EU accession

The circumstances forced a change in the celebrations planned in Brussels of the National Day of the Constitution of 3 May, the Flag Day of the Republic of Poland and the anniversary of Poland's accession to the European Union.

The piano concert of Fryderyk Chopin's compositions had to be moved from the closed to public headquarters of the EU Council – so we recorded a special commemorative video to celebrate of our National Day.

Chopin’s prelude op. 28 no. 15 and the revolutionary etude op. 12 no. 10 was specially performed for this occasion by our colleague from the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the EU - Barbara Bajor is a graduate of the Royal Conservatory in Brussels and the Royal Conservatory in Mons. Ms Bajor is a winner of many national and international competitions. She combines her passion for music with work in the team of the Permanent Representative.

In the church of Our Lady of Częstochowa in Brussels a solemn Holy Mass will be held on the occasion of the National Day of the 3 May Constitution for Poland, its citizens and the Polish diaspora – it will be broadcasted live on YouTube on Sunday at 9h30 a.m.
