Eastern Partnership Summit

EU leaders and heads of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine attended the 6th Eastern Partnership Summit. Poland was represented by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
The summit confirmed the will for deeper cooperation, the need for reforms, as well as the priorities of the EU and the eastern partners. Common values and fundamental principles remain the axis, which will also guide all elements of the future agenda.
"Poland plays a central role in the strategic dimension of the Eastern Partnership. It is to be welcomed that the ties between the Eastern Partnership countries and the European Union are getting stronger," Polish head of government Mateusz Morawiecki said at a press conference.
The Eastern partners who took part in the summit are: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. Belarus suspended its participation.
